Bought a new serpentine belt about a week ago as mine was looking gnarly. Noticed some excessive noise as I was getting ready to change mine and assumed on of my accessories is on it’s way out. Start trying to get the tensioner loose and it’s not going in the direction everyone says it does. Double check again and try in the same direction and the bolt on the idler pulley comes loose. All of a sudden I notice what I thought was part of the bolt is a stack of washers....

I ended up putting it back in so I can make it to the parts store and I put it on with the box end of my wrench and now I can’t get my wrench back out. So I ziptied the wrench so it won’t slip off while driving. Figure if it’s already jerry rigged I can’t hurt it too much worse just making it to the store and back.
